  teaching children how to be adults means sharing the stories that create mindful habits like prayer, and reading that make up our relationships with  God. it is  so  important to focus on helping people to walk until they can run. it doesn't mean that things are hidden from us, it means Father is good as  allowing us to discover at our means and will. THIS was so beautiful!!!!! thank you for diving and bringing us along  for the intellectual ride!!!!

  This was a great discussion. &nbsp;Makes me want to repent again and again, every day, from my pride and envyings and everything. <br><br>It is disconcerting how members of the church will turn against each other but it&apos;s kind of already happening. &nbsp;There are those i know who are ok with gay marriage (which keeps children from being born) and abortion (which is murder and keeps children from being born). So, in a sense, some members are already breaking their covenants and are literal &nbsp;murderers.

  The JST in every instance, &nbsp;instead of the Savior saying I know you not, he says, you knew me not. It&apos;s a testimony to me that Christ knows everyone of us. However, If we don&apos;t know him , we disqualify ourselves not from his kingdom.

  The Book of Mormon contains strong condemnations of a “great and abominable church” (1 Nephi 13–14) that removes plain and precious truths from the Bible, persecutes saints, seeks riches and power, and is called the mother of harlots/whore of all the earth. It also sharply denounces infant baptism (Moroni 8). For much of the 19th and 20th centuries, many Latter-day Saints — including influential figures like Bruce R. McConkie in the first edition of Mormon Doctrine — interpreted these passages as direct references to the Catholic Church and its historical role in Christianity. However, modern Church leaders and official publications have moved away from this specific identification, teaching instead that the great and abominable church symbolizes all forces of evil and apostasy opposed to the Church of the Lamb, rather than any one denomination.

  FYI, 40 weeks is a 9 month gestational period, 42 weeks is a late or post-term pregnancy that is delayed to the end. So, while 42 months is stated in months instead of weeks, there is a symbolic connection to this idea.
