  I haven’t smoked weed since 1982, but I enjoy growing, trimming and curing. &nbsp;I give it all away. <br>Someone once said “Smoking weed isn’t addictive, but growing it is.”

  The hippies in the house and I like to say even though I&apos;ve been growing cannabis for 48 years, I still enjoy hearing from other people like Scotty and other growers. I appreciate the community of growers. 😁✌️

  I tie string onto the bottom base of the plant, cut the bottom of the plant at the base, flip it upside down and tie the other side of the string to the top of my grow tent and let it hang till dry. Leave it till dry and then cut off branches one by one as I trim the buds.

  I&apos;m very proud to trim my buds as perfect as I&apos;m able. There&apos;s just some pride in having beautiful buds.

  For 47 years I have been drying the same, wet trim all the large fan leaves, hang the whole plant for about 2 weeks, put in cure jars or now I put them in grove bags and allow the sugar leaves to crumble off during cure and make edibles from the sugar leaves.

  Ive always done chop, hang, trim big leafs while hung, &nbsp;once stems start to crack debone them onto screens and finish trimming pretty and cure it. Love hearing about different styles .always something new to learn in the Cannabis game!

  I learned how to do what you&apos;re describing 40 years ago in uptown NY. The scissors got better. Spring scissors are a game-changer.
