Nicholas was weak and prideful, and sent MILLIONS of soldiers to their deaths in the war against Japan. He was told by his Government AND his family that the war could never have been won. Sadly, his vain, bossy father had never bothered to teach him anything about ruling a country, so he was doomed from the start.

If only there wasn't the stupid salic law. ANY OF THOSE 4 GIRLS could have reigned. Instead patriarchy made poor Empress Alexandra go through 5 pregnancies in quick succession ending with her natualy relying on Rasputin. What mother wouldn't grasp at straws. Course Alexandra took the blame for everything. Nicholas was not prepared to reign. Also Russia was ripe for revolution long before he turned up.

Last video you said it was Rasputin who ended the empire? Which is it? Rasputin warned Nicholas that entering the war would be his end. So which one was it? Rasputin was murdered by the war-mongers.

Nicholas was a near moron .His father once told a minister, DeWitt , "Haven't you noticed ? Nicholas is DIM" ! Every single decision he ever made was WRONG . Autocracy was a monstrous evil . It could not continue . He lost the entire Russian Navy in a single afternoon - to Japan . Later , he decided that he should personally take control of the Army during WW I .
