  Maybe that’s why Varian’s father didn’t encourage alchemy because he had already lost his wife to it and he didn’t want to loose him too.

  you’re telling me we could of had a Varian spinoff with him aged up being the protagonist and voiced once again by the broadway lead Jeremy Jordan and the show would have had an incredibly diverse cast of characters and they just SAID NO!!!?!?!??😭😤

  Ok they clearly liked it. But they seriously don&apos;t get the fan base.   Varians literally everyone’s favorite character, even if someone likes cass, Eugene, rapunzel etc. their number 2 or 3 always Varian

  Personally I believe spin offs can work without the main character of the original. Just have Varian mention Rapunzel and the others occasionally and the fan base will be satisfied.

  If they could make a Timon and Pumbaa spinoff without Simba in it, they can do the same with Varian.
