  the sour soup you had is Zurek and it is amazing. We traditionally have it for Easter as the soup before the main course. Also Beet Borsch soup is the bomb! Grew up on it and have it often and it is usually served at Christmas time with dumpling ( mini tortelini) inside the soup. A very old tradition and a staple to Polish food! hope you enjoyed touring Poland!
