It's a fabulous set up James has built up at PX. The sheer depth of his business thinking is great to see and hear.

WOW! You just have to love the owner. He has the right energy, attitude, and open mind for constant innovation; he never sleeps mentally.

His story about the employee who stepped into the compactor when it was on automatic mode, completely... well, I don't know what words to use to describe the incident.
As an electrician and entrepreneur myself, the first thing that struck me was to build a safety control system that cuts off the operating voltage when the door is opened.
Of course, this would require an investment, but based on what he said, it's a small cost compared to what was about to happen, jeez!

It was absolutely wonderful to be part of the tour, I liked every single stop because the owner is so inspiring (not a classic grumbling farmer, a bit of a joker, ok).
I will definitely start following him, and both of you, of course... this is what is so fascinating about YouTube; you can click on one of twelve suggestions (you get twelve different suggestions to watch when the episode you've been watching is finished) where your expectations are low.

I am interested in farming myself so that people can have food on the table.

Best regards from northern Sweden! 🌿🕊

I'm thoroughly impressed with the set up. It's farming on a huge scale compared to what I was used to. The one thing we have in common is the tractors and Implements have to be looked after at all times. Tractors washed every week in our own time. Oils and filters changed in our own time too. Fuel tanks filled at the end of the day so it's ready to go next morning etc..

Connect that access door to the power supply with a lock out key set up. If it’s opened or left open nothing will power up.

Ive come to the conclusion that James Peck is a truly honest bloke, and always willing to give his staff a second chance.

Interesting video, what a hell of a set up they got there. He certainly knows his stuff, all credit to him. It's good to see the kit well looked after.👍

Tom, James, Just wondering if the "fundamental" problem with Scharmuller Towing Eyes, is they appear to be category 4 (8T pulling force), when for the pulling force of the Fendt 1167, they should be category 5 (12T pulling force). (They did some drawbar pull tests on the JD 8RX - and they were getting up to 11T). It might be worth asking Horsch, what the drawbar pull of their 12m Terrano is in heavy soils.

A truly impressive operation and a real pleasure to see someone who can see the value in maintaining their kit, has a real grasp on the costs of that size operation and is honest enough to admit where mistakes have been made. I particularly liked the honesty regarding adding extra Coulter's on to the plough!
