  Underrated nerf that was a buff, First Day of School was 0 mana add 2 random one-cost minions to your hand. Changed to 1 mana add 3 random one-cost minions to your hand. Apparently intended to diminish its role as a &quot;efficient curve enabler&quot; and move it to more of a value role, it ended up being just as strong if not stronger for curving because now you had more curve filler minions, and your selection was increased by far. Eventually nerfed again to just be 2 minions again.

  Thaddius also got nerfed again to a 2 mana reduction, but you can still consistently pull off a turn 5 OTK in warrior with it.

  I love how one Stormrage brother, Illidan made Kael&apos;thas broken. Then kael&apos;thas was nerfed and now Illidan&apos;s brother had access to it

  Remember when call to arms got nerfed by a mana so it just went to odd paladin instead of even paladin. Not an example of this exact thing because it still did get weaker, but this video reminds me of the first time my eyes were opened to how nerfs can indirectly change how a card is used. Because of this I love declbuilding woth freshly nerfed cards as much as the newly buffed.

  The moment I saw the title I instantly thought of order in the court, as a wilds and bg player, order of the court paladin was absolutely disgusting, you couldn&apos;t even do anything as you couldn&apos;t even theotar it half the time

  great video, but one quick point about the Thrall&apos;s Gift change: the change happened in the first balance patch after Whizbang&apos;s Workshop released, which was when Bioluminescence rotated out of standard, so Nature Shaman didn&apos;t actually revolve around that card at all anymore when they made the change like you said in the video

  I know cataclysm is not a card for this video topic, but god it was so satisfying to watch all of the soul barrages hit face, and then it was nerfed and the nerf also killed mecha&apos;thun warlock
