Many moons ago when my daughter was 4 we took her to a PP&M concert and sat close to the front.  At her age she didn't know audience etiquette and made a noise at an inappropriate time.  Mary walked across the stage to be in front of her and talked to her so sweetly saying how glad she was that she was there.  I think they started in small coffee shops in Greenwich Village, NYC where they were 6 feet from the audience.  They never forgot how to connect.  Even in a large renue it felt more like being in a living room with friends singing to you.  Magical.

Oh how I loved their music, and here we are 2021 a full 60 years since they first sang together, and their songs are still as relevant and good to listen to.  A nostalgic walk down memory lane, it triggered tears of happiness and sadness all at once.

I can't help but notice how well the audience is dressed. The years have flown but the music is timeless.Rest in peace Mary.

Those were the days when singers sang instead of yelling. So wonderful they were! Always will be!
