  We pay tax so that those &nbsp;who can&apos;t afford can access hospitals and clinics for free

  I trust the South African Public Hospital system in spite of all the inconvenience of overcrowding and waiting. I believe in doctors in our Public Hospitals.

  We have free healthcare in South Africa paying for any type of medical procedure is literally because you CHOSE to go to a private clinic or hospital 😅 which I think is the popular choice for many middle class and above South Africans for a number of reasons. 1) no long waiting lines at the hospitals or the clinic. 2) the private facilities tend to have more equipment and medicine however the quality of doctors at private and public facilities are the same our doctors are great 👍🏾 3) some of us also hold the believe that if we can afford to pay for private healthcare we should as to not burden the public healthcare system this was a popular conscious choice adopted by many homes during COVID-19 along with other things but yes essentially cost of life is cheaper here than there, we have free healthcare so you technically don&apos;t have to pay to give birth but Judy (the mommy you&apos;re reacting to) is a Queen who deserves nothing but the best 🎉❤😂😂

  South African public hospitals are actually quite good and very reliable. So health insurance is really by choice if you have extra money

  We dont need insurance, &nbsp;the oublic hospital is free if you ate unemployed. Or a stipend if you are employed.

  Paying for birth is a choice here in South Africa. I have 5 daughters and one son. First daughter I paid R2500 (USD155) natural birth in a semi private hospital, that&apos;s it, no other costs. Second was free in a Government hospital, third was R700 C section (USD430). the rest of them were free in various government hospitals.

  A shared delivery room either has a &nbsp;wall or a curtain seperating the two of u...its not so bad 😅. During labor time u don&apos;t care what is going on around u or all the noises u hear around u. All u care IS to have this baby to COME OUT NOW 😂😅

  I&apos;m 34 years Old with 9 kids and two wife&apos;s.... our local clinic had everything covered, local hospital handles the births! and I just make sure the family is well taken care of! What I spend most is in they&apos;re education, right now we spending over 100k annually on school fees for 7 kids! Ay baba umuntu uzozi faka ku medical when they work. For now its pay as you go should there be an extreme emergency for private hospital!

  Also when Eddi is saying he literally had to pay more for a hotel room correct! Access to adequate healthcare is a basic human right protected by law there would be uprisings if healthcare here was as pricy as USA 😅 I think there would be a coup 😂😂😂
