I love how so many alternate anakin stories just involve him actually talking to other jedi and not being emo😂

"Somehow Maul returned" is the best sentence in this story. I love it when the what if youtubers make refernces to everyones favourite plot point.

Here's an interesting idea for a what if:

Anakin and the 501st legion seized Tatooine and make it into a staging area during the Clone Wars.

The idea with this one is the Hutts are a constant thorn in the side of the Republic and Tatooine is a major hub for a lot of crime and illegal activities. If Anakin essentially did what Boba did and became the ad hoc Daimyo, the Hutts and other crime syndicates would be forced to pull back, the Republic would have a front row seat of the Outer rims suffering and the people of Tatooine might just welcome a military occupation if it means they don't have to keep towing the line to the Hutts.

Additionally, Anakin would most likely do a lot for the people like ending slavery and giving the people self-determination, or screw it all up in the process. Only time and choice will tell.

And just like that, a little bit of listening, a little bit of intelligent thought. And a little bit of freedom, and faith by the Council and Obi Wan. And no hypocritical comments or actions taken by them in front of Anakin. BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!! No Darth Vader!!!!

The four way war was interesting. I think being a Jedi Shadow would be perfect for Anakin.

I'd like to think no one ratted on Anakin's marriage because they either didn't know him, assumed he left the order (being away from the temple all the time), or they simply assumed Padmé was some insanely committed deep cover
