Thanks for this one, been looking for it for a while. This was the game that made everyone realize just how fluky that Miami loss was (I was at that game, and was so skeptical the Pats would lose that I left when it was 28-17). The Jets were totally outfoxed and outplayed in this one. Chrebet giving up and dropping a pass. Sewell dropped a wide-open sure-fire first down pass on third down. The muffed kickoff before halftime. Funny thing is, if Doug Brien had been a few inches more accurate against the Steelers, these teams would have met for a third time in the AFC Championship Game.

"Vrabel's like a coach in the classroom, is what he [Belichick] said. [...] its true about him, he is gonna be coach when its done, that's what he says. Gonna be a good one too."

26 years later and he is our coach! LFG!

Seems like every old Tom Brady game has his defense holding a team to < 13-17 points. What a luxury having Bill Belichick's top 10 (usually top 5) scoring defenses for his entire career.

Also I probably asked before but you don’t have any 2000 or 2001 Pats preseason games do you?
