  Austin's girlfriend was standing behind the camera during the recording, and it was Valentine's Day. He sang the song especially for her, which is why he looked at the camera like that. The two are now married, and Austin has left the band to spend more time with her.

  You're in for a treat if you go down the Home Free rabbit hole ...you can't go wrong with any of their songs ! "Helplessly Hoping" is one of my favorites ... it's 5-part harmony perfection !

  Home Free has a number of videos like this where the singers are shown in separate screens. They put together a lot of videos during lockdown. They would record their parts at home and then an editor would combine them. They were putting out a new video every 2d Friday throughout the lockdown. I think they have kept up that pace, but during the lockdown it came a big deal to look forward to new songs/videos.

  Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free. &nbsp;These 5 men are known for their tight harmonies, having one of the best bass singers &amp; an unmatched vocal percussionist who can simulate any sound. They lean towards country but can do any genre of music. They can all take the lead depending on who&apos;s voice is best suited for the song. <br>Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge&apos;s version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton&apos;s version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren&apos;t even together. &nbsp;These guys are my favorite a cappella group. Most new reactors start with &quot;Man Of Constant Sorrow&quot;.

  Yes, Home Free is the name of the band as a whole. Austin Brown, the tenor (lead) singer in this vid, recently left the band. But there&apos;s a dozen years&apos; worth of vids with him in them for you to react to.

  Austin&apos;s voice is so very awesome. The other guys do a great job at the harmonies! Austin has moved on to a solo career. You need to check out all of his solo stuff. He is amazing!

  Best a cappella group out there, I think. &nbsp;Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, can do pretty much anything - drums, cymbals, wind, waves, birds, harmonica, castanets..... &nbsp;I don&apos;t really like this song, but the guys killed it. &nbsp;Fabulous backing vocals, percussion perfection, and Austin soaring into the stratosphere like it&apos;s normal. &nbsp;They have a very deep and varied catalog. &nbsp;Enjoy the ride!
