I hope Marvin found the peace that eluded him on earth.

So terribly sad how Marvin was raised/abused by his dad. Had so much to do with his addictions, and tragic death. Marvin was a giant talent.

Stop saying that Marvin Gaye was the Prince of Motown, he was the King of Motown!

I really think that Tammi was one of the most important people in his life, and when she died, part of him died too. Probably they just had sister/brother thing going on but sure there was love. I think that both understood each other (both were damage people deep down), enjoyed working together, and what they had working together (love, understanding, playing those two characters madly in love) is probably what they wanted in their personal lives, The image of pure love, beautiful love songs, died for Martin when Tammi died. I think that when they were together singing and working were really happy.

We're all sensitive people with so much to give, well since we got to be here lets live... Marvin was a beautiful soul and I would've loved to have met him just once.

I wish Marvin Gaye stayed with friends instead of going to his father's house; maybe he'd still be alive today.

I met Marvin in London after he moved there from Belgium , he was well and seemed at peace , he had told me that he had to go back to the states to sort some things out and sadly he never came back . I wish he never did return to the states perhaps he would have still been alive if he hadn`t . R.I.P. Marvin , you were always ahead of your time So sad you had to leave in such a tragic way and so young too .

Wow...MJ's father and Marvin's father were ripped out of the same cloth. And Marvin was gorgeous. And one more thing....Marvin MADE Motown ☝️
