  Silver was the first Pokemon game I got with my own money.<br><br>Remember going to the shop and looking for Silver, they only has gold on the shelf and my grandad could tell by my face I was just getting gold for the sake of it. He asked why it had to be sliver and I told him I preferred Lugia over Ho-oh. <br><br>He asked the staff and they had just got a copy of silver in.<br><br>He said me getting silver was the happiest he had seen me in months.<br><br>Thank you so much for this remix.<br>No matter how bad things are I can just listen to this and think of him!

  Gen 1 will always be great, but my buddies and I used the prima guide for EVERYTHING. I went into gold blind and loved figuring everything out myself. Finding Red without knowing he was there is one of my proudest gaming moments. Gen 2 is extra special.

  Who else remembers the first time we all caught that red gyarados at lake of rage? &nbsp; Now who all remembers subsequently using that gyarados and going to storm the team rocket hideout feeling like a god? &nbsp;I do lol. &nbsp;The music and ambience of team rocket used to freak me out as a kid, but with that gyarados,idk, it gave me the courage to charge in without an ounce of fear and wipe em out

  Johto will forever be my favourite gen/lore/japanese-vibe/whatever you wanna call it. The region just feels (and sounds) homey.

  Gold was the first game I ever fully beat. Didn’t catch them all, but all 16 badges elite four and Red was an accomplishment when I was 7.

  everytime i listen to these streams while working i read the comments and just see that im not alone with my huge pokemon nostalgia. Chilling with friends outside playing the opposite versions, trading, adventuring, battling. Still a huge fan today with 34. Thanks for the music
