I’m glad you included that Phil Jackson quote where he said Kobe has to take care of the ball and make other players happy etc. I always point to that quote. What most people don’t know is in that discussion he was being asked about the differences between Kobe and Jordan and he admitted Jordan was the best player, but he also said Kobe was the better all-around player because he asks Kobe to do more things that Jordan never had to do. Ppl love to pretend Kobe was a selfish player, because they don’t understand the offense he played in for virtually his entire career. But like he said, you don’t win 5 championships by being a selfish player.
