Great episode! As a retired nurse, I know that the Apple Watch can and does save lives. Sometimes the fall detection goes off with a fast or hard arm movement, but I would rather have a few false alarms than no fall detection. Thank you Ellen.

Would be great if Apple gave a discount to senior citizens also.

This is such a great video! by the way there’s plenty of young people who have conditions like long Covid and dysautonomia / pots— the fall risk and fainting is very scary. Thank you for your care.

Gosh yes the fall detection worked for me, I was out with my guide dog and fell. It was so reassuring, pity it couldn’t find my guide dog who wandered away a little

This video reminded me to update my medication list. I wear mine to bed to track my sleep also. I only take it off when I take a shower. I have my watch and phone nearby. I’m sure if I fell in the shower I can probably tell Siri to call for help.

I will be getting the watch in a couple weeks. This is my first Apple Watch. I have an iPhone and iPad but I am a bit intimidated by the watch. Thank you so much for this clear and informative video. I will probably have to rewatch it a few times, but I feel better knowing that this video is available to help me with the setup.

Very nicely done! I'm researching medical alert systems and Apple watch is winning over the alert-only products and services.. I've placed your video in my Gemini Notebook. Thank you very much for all of the detailed information

Great video! Another feature to note, an Apple Watch with a cellular chip is able to make an emergency call, even if there is no active carrier plan and no wifi or paired phone nearby.
