My favourite thing about Dinosaurs is that there could literally be a discovery tomorrow that would render this video completely moot.

Birds surpassing their ancestors by thriving on every continent, maintaining aerial dominance, and competing with fish and mammals in the ocean.
At this point I'm convinced they'll still be around along with crocodilea long after we're gone.

I like to think Dinosaurs never evolved to be fully aquatic as they never wanted to mess with whatever eldritch creatures lurked within earth's prehistoric oceans

People also don’t generally realize that pterosaurs weren’t dinosaurs, either; that dinosaurs never achieved flight until they became birds.

If Dinosaur means "terrible lizards" I'd say the ocean was full of those.

My theory is: they applied for the permits to become aquatic, but they failed to complete the environmental impact statement, so they were denied.

I think the closest thing to a fully aquatic dinosaur is actially the LOON, since unlike a penguin or even hesperonis, it CANT ACTUALLY WALK ON LAND. It can fly, but not walk, closer to something like a flying fish.
