Jim Plunket deserves to be elected&inducted into the Pro-football HOF as he won 2 Superbowls in 1980&1983,he was given another chance to start&play for the Raiders as Al Davis signed him like he always has turned out to be a truly great move on his part in Raiders history keeping that mystique alive&well in Oakland!

A pretty historic game for the Raiders:
Jim Plunkett’s first start.
Marc Wilson’s first pass.
Todd Christensen’s first touchdown.
Kenny King’s longest run (longest in team history to that time).
Began the 13-2 run that won Super Bowl XV.

This is the game Jim Plunkett finally got his start to show everyone that he will take advantage of the chance given to him. The Raiders had to win because being at 24 would really hurt their chances to get a wildcard spot, but thankfully Plunkett came through this game and in that season with a Super Bowl win.

Muncie fumbled a year earlier on Monday night against the Raiders when he was on the Saints and cost them the game and fumbles again with chargers giving the Raiders a touchdown...
