  All men are transactional, in every type of relationship. Women move in love. Take your love, put it into yourself, the world around you that you want to and leave men alone. She is correct.

  As a 45 yr old woman with experience, the best thing I can tell younger women when dealing with men is to ALWAYS prioritize yourself, even in dating, even in marriage. Men love confidence &amp; a challenge. You are not doing this as a Jedi mind trick either, you are doing this because this is your life &amp; you love yourself. A person will only uphold the standards that you set &amp; practice for yourself. Also, if a man feels like he has conquered &amp; mastered you &amp; knows your life is based &amp; centered around him, then there’s nothing to figure out, there’s no chase. You must hold on to yourself &amp; your standards. I feel that in dating the tables have turned &amp; women really are the ones that set the standard. Never go to them first, let them lead &amp; initiate. Never chase, never beg, &amp; if a man doesn’t see your worth &amp; value &amp; love you for you completely &amp; in the way that you need him to, then he’s not for you…don’t compromise yourself
