Bubba kinda reminds me of David Reutimann in that he's a good driver who has always been surrounded by great drivers and just looks bad by comparison. and both drivers drive for Toyota teams owned by owner-drivers. also, each of them got their first two wins in similar fashion: the first win came in a rain-shortened Monday race where they started mid-pack; and their second came at a 1.5 mile track where they didn't dominate but they ran well the whole day after starting top 10. plus, both of them scored their respective team's first career win (MWR for Reutimann, 23XI for Bubba)

Bubba has the advantage of having started his full-time Cup career a full THIRTEEN years younger than David Reutimann did, so Bubba should have some longevity in him

I hate how bubba gets all this hate for things that he didn’t do, he does a great job avoiding most of the hate

This is my new favorite video on YouTube, bubbas mental stability was awful because of what the fans put him through and they’re still bad but hes learned to just not care what they think and focus on just racing and his family

Love the vid, but could you cite your sources? I’d like to read more about this but there weren’t any links in the description. Tysm

I do like Bubba, I don't think he always makes the best decisions (ex. the larson incident), but it comes out of a deep passion and care for what he does. Sometimes he's a bit much, but he's a strong personality in the sport which I think we need more of. And again, although I'm not always super happy with his decisions, I do find myself rooting for him (depends on who he's racing against tbf but generally). Hope he has a good season this year and gets a win or two
