  I really like this doctor,  hes patient , kind, compassionate. He takes his time explaining everything thoroughly

  Note to self - if I ever need mental healthcare I will go to a psychologist.  I will not go to a psychiatrist.  Side note - Dr. Tufts came across as quite the inexperienced cold fish.  She didn't show a lick of kindness, understanding, compassion and she had no comprehensive plan of treatment.  Astounding no blood test were given.

  I have bipolar.  I'm completely in control in my 40s but when the symptoms hit hard in my late twenties to thirties especially I can totally relate with what happened to this woman but I did not murder my family... I had very similar symptoms... The waking hours; the shadow thoughts overtaking my conscious self.  It's real.  We are struggling.  It is extremely difficult to balance out and not for lack of full effort.  I did everything. Excercised... Made decent meals... Fresh air... Worked up to three jobs while trying to maintain my childrens health and well being.  I worked 60 hours a week cycling 100 kms pregnant... Walked to and from work trying to out run the extreme anxiety until I started breaking down.  Still tried hard but there was no respite because my body was detached from my brain that started sabatoging me regardless of my good track record ... Emotions, physical and spiritual are all operating independently and when one of them is malfunctioning the word thoughts which could manifest as different than physical harm... But the intrusive thoughts that are unwanted start blaring like a song in your head  that you hate and  can't turn down or turn off. Mixed with postpartum is a recipe for disaster

  I always thought that there was some desperation in regards to her marriage……..it does make sense that he then so quickly “began” another relationship <br>With her physical and mental stress this was a lethal mix……

  My psychiatrist for pp psychosis was incredible and extremely compassionate. She knew how to help me exactly. I was getting help from my OB, a nurse on my case at that women’s clinic, and my psychiatrist. I had a phenomenal team giving me holistic care, and friends and family who came over each day for about two weeks to help in any way we needed. <br>I also was never pressured to go back to work or seek after a career over raising my own family. The anxiety our culture puts on women to NOT be a mother is insane and evil. Psychosis is real and horrifying. Because I had a husband and village on top of it (my husband actually nearly forced me to tell my OB my thoughts), I got through it and ended up having a wonderful postpartum experience after. If you suspect you’re going down a bad road AT ALL, AGGRESSIVELY ask for help and DO NOT hide your thoughts and feelings. It can start small, then explode overnight with panic attacks and intrusive thoughts. God help all these people, and bless the sweet babies in heaven. I don’t excuse the mother if she wasn’t blatant about her bad thoughts —BUT our society failed her too. We need whole families where mommy can stay home with her kids to nurse them, raise them, etc., with a father who supports them.

  I knew a young lady this happened to after she had a baby and she never over came it and ended up being hospitalized the rest of her life. This was many years ago and far as anyone knew she had no mental illness before giving birth .

  She is charged with murder!! It’s standard procedure to have law enforcement present and no visitors.

  Talk therapy alone can’t fix psychosis. People need a balance of talk therapy and proper medication. There are inexperience doctors, NPs, psychologist and even experienced healthcare professionals who adapt a volume model to make as much money as possible. Those who take time to listen, well don’t stay in business long. Society wants quality care but don’t always recognize what good care looks like.

  Reddington and this forensic &nbsp;psychologist are the most impressive professionals I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even know the things this FP did even existed. He’s had such an impressive career I’d consider him one of the best to exist. If I were in a sticky situation with the law, these are 2 men I would want on my side. They are incredible at what they do and others should absolutely aspire to be as masters of their craft like these two men are.
