  I use a writers cluster. Write the subject or hook if you already have one in the center of the page. Draw lines from it to whatever you think of that relates to that subject or hook. Draw lines from those ideas that stem to different scenarios. Draw lines from those that give details and so on. This gives you a big picture with lots of material that&apos;s easier to list in a timeline or by increased intensity for an optimal dynamic so you can build up to a climax...like sex. Additionally, every line that is written is potentially half of a rhyme that may already have the other half on the same page. It creates an instantaneous explosion of content that destroys writers block. Very helpful with essays and other writing projects as well. Seeing the whole picture on one page is especially helpful with the order, which can have you frustratingly backtracking and rewriting things. I didn&apos;t invent this method by any means. Actually, it&apos;s one of the oldest tricks in the book that I learned in school. Im kinda surprised it&apos;s not mentioned here. Got a writing project for homework that&apos;s given you a hellish case of writers block?...this is what you need to break through that barrier. Turns out it&apos;s a valuable tool for writing lyrics, too. It really is a game changer. <br><br><br>...YOU&apos;RE WELCOME 😎

  Also, I often find that the verse I wrote first, becomes the second verse, and what I write second offers origin/background info on what was previously written.

  A lot of good advice here. Though I write 90% of my stuff melody first, the ideas presented here will be a help in the most important areas, namely, getting started and finishing. In regard to finishing a song, the best advice I ever heard was from Leon Russell in an interview, he said, &quot;You can&apos;t be the listener and songwriter at the same time&quot;, explaining that there are dozens of things which will occur to you as you write a song which will encourage you to stop and give the song up. But he said you need to persist, optimally through a single session, with musical and lyrical ideas that seem to make sense at the time, unto a &quot;finished&quot; song, then your &quot;songwriter&quot; chore is done. His habit was to then get that song onto an audio media of some sort and leave it, maybe a week, maybe a few weeks, but often longer, then come back to it as the &quot;listener&quot;. He said the result would be that some songs needed work, some would go in the bin, and some you have heard on the radio. I have very much adopted this method and it has definitely improved the quality of my songs. And nowadays it could not be easier, with a 24 hr. recorder right in your phone. You got a musical idea? Put it in the phone and go back to it at the end of the day. I have been surprised at how crappy some of what seemed good in the moment really was...but I also have songs on albums that started as mere snatch of melody sung into a phone while driving. You CANNOT rely on inspiration! But, when it does come, it has never been easier to capture it than it is now. Cheers!

  i don&apos;t know the technical terms but i heard variation in the guitar chords where i would say they hit harder towards the last chorus, in the final chorus the way you say &apos;everything is a bit lower&apos; (dynamic variation if i am not wrong) and the bridge was very dynamic too😂😂😂😂. She is definitely selling everything.

  I love that I found your channel, Keppie. It&apos;s much more than just a bunch of tips. It&apos;s a true seminar with clear examples and especially, MINDSET, all the points you always make leave me reflecting longer. That&apos;s what determines who will become a songwriter, mindset and not just effort.
