I own some short trousers, but I stopped wearing them because mosquitoes would bite the exposed skin.<br>I'm going to lengthen them using this method.<br>Thank you so much.<br>I actually have three pairs of them! 😅

When you trim your hair, or cut your hair, wash it the night before. With a gentle brush, brush your hair well so the natural oils that protect your hair are distributed evenly to the ends. Save the hair and use that to stuff your pin cushion. Back in the day when sewing needles were expensive and living on a farm, an order could take over 6 weeks to arrive and with no AC, humidity kept things damp. Keeping your pins and needles in this type of pin cushion prevents rust. Shortly after getting married, 50 years ago, I've done it cutting me hair immediately after washing and drying my hair. I forgot about my little pin cushion. Where I live is very humid in spring & early summer when like to open up my house. I came across mu pin cushion 45 years later when we moved. There was ZERO rust on the pins and needles. Hair doesn't decompose so before you say gross, do some research.

Thank you ! For the cuff in the sleeve trick, I have a suggestion to make it perfectly cozy. Snip a slit for a thumb hole. I'm going to do this on all my sweatshirts, hoodies, and coats. But now I have to go and buy pairs of socks 🧦😂.
