  I think a huge part of why so many people (that I’ve seen) are saying his actions are unforgivable, that he should have been old enough to know, or that he isn’t likely to change in the coming years, is because of how young the average MCSR community member is.<br><br>Most of them are teenagers, many are still in their early to mid teens (hence the joke of Feinberg being ‘old’ at 23). I can totally see how from that perspective, at that age, it’s very very difficult to understand just how fundamentally different of a person you’ll be when you hit 20, and then again at 25, and again at 30, et cetera.<br><br>There’s basically no mature human being over 25 that I’ve ever talked to that didn’t think they were massively different (and worse) at 17. Even most people in their late 30s think they were super cringe in their 20s. Growth doesn’t just stop when you hit 18, not even close. That’s why I think a permanent ban is such an obviously poor idea (this applies to all people, not just edcr) and that a mod team that had an average age of say, 35, would never in a million years have even entertained it.<br><br>I mean, I’m only 25 myself, but holy shit was I a completely different person at 15, and 17, and 19, and 21. I think if you’re 18-20 it can be very easy to assume “Well I’m pretty much done maturing, I’m an adult now, and edcr’s around my age. So he must be done maturing as well.” without realizing just how wrong that first part of their sentence is.

  IMO, banning him from Season 11 playoffs seems like a reasonable punishment for what he said in context. MCSR can show support/that there is consequences, EDCR can show he&apos;s grown/apologize, and then everyone can move on for Season 12+.
