From the clunkers of the late 70s to today’s XTR M9200 - which era of mountain biking do you think truly defined our sport?

What an extensive advert of the xtr. still, for an industry's mouthpiece, I enjoyed watching it.

Now if only we could get more films like this that aren't just ads! Interesting partial MTB history doc, though. Well done, I guess.

I remember before there was XTR when we had LX, DX, & XT. Then they added XTR Dropped DX and changed LX to SLX. It was fun back in the late 80's early 90's when MTB was just getting going. Crazy days riding back then in the Bay Area, & Tahoe, with the hitters of the days.

wow this was very very corporate but still enjoyable as someone over 40 who was all over MTB since the 90s.

I raced from 91 to 93 and had one of the earliest production Rockshox ever made Before that, fully rigid. Crazy times for sure.

This video made me go downstairs and stare at my full XTR equipped 1995 Trek 9900. So pretty.

I have two early 2000's bikes that came with the M950 XTR rd. Still ride them and the rd's still perform well!
