  &quot;Diet Sephiroths&quot; lol<br><br>I went into this film with an open mind and was <b>shocked</b> at how bad it was. I&apos;d rate it a 3/10 due to some nice animation and a couple of scenes I quite liked (opening montage, Tifa church fight). Everyone can fly now apparently, and the characterisation was so awkward. I felt like these were completely different characters to the ones in the original game, with some superficial similarities. <br><br>The forgettable villains, comic-relief Turks, contrived drama (&apos;Sephiroth is back but we cannot help because Cloud must fight him on his own with no materia&quot;) and Dragonball-Z anime fight scenes just further damaged a fundamentally doomed project. A missed opportunity.

  To be honest I&apos;m not satisfied with the ending of FF7 original that&apos;s why I immediately watch Advent Children after FF7 game lol.

  Yea I hated this movie. I thought it diminished the characters and world we all grew up loving. And the depressing, cringe lord, edgy bullshit is so embarrassing. I didn’t like the plot either. The whole virus thing was stupid and poorly executed imo. They could have done something new and exciting but they just fell back on nostalgia bait and awkward character interactions, that I’m glad are mostly a thing of the past in the new FF7 remake trilogy. I reallllllllly hope they never touch on Advent Children in the new games. I’d be happy if they just pretend it doesn’t exist so someone can create an actually good sequel movie if they wanted to, to wrap up the world and characters stories in a meaningful way that isn’t afraid to take risks and change characters Over time.
