Great advice, just as fixed spools have come a long way ,multis have became more and more user friendly as well.

Loved your video...

I prefer multipliers when shore fishing as well... no better and smoother sound and feel than a multiplier👍🏻

Great advise from switching from carp fishing to sea fishing I got 2x fixed spools 2x penn 525's..I booked a trip to Norway and the zziplex were rung for multies 😳😳the panic but after a week of constantly casting I learnt from the multies and as you said smooth casting is a must if you snatch its game over😂I'm just as confident now with my 525s as I am fixed spools.
Nice one bud keep the vids coming mate.
Cheers

I use fixed spool on my kayak and multiplier from shore,
Mainly 7ht. Never had any issues with overruns and I’ve removed all brake blocks.
Multiplier to me feels much more controllable and smooth. The only thing they fall short on is retrieve rate.
