  I think the best summary of the whole series so far was Holger ( in his amazing Fair Isle tank top) commenting that &nbsp;“expecting me to express myself in Fair Isle in chunky wool is like expecting a vegetarian to express themselves through the medium of steak”.<br>The show makes me feel like I’m a ghoul watching a train wreck 😢, and don’t mention what Tom Daley is wearing 🤦🏻‍♀️

  Rowan isn&apos;t even paying the designers any portion of what they make on the kits, and that, to me, says a lot about the show and why I don&apos;t think I&apos;ll ever buy Rowan again.

  If I were making a show like this, I&apos;d structure it around weekly or biweekly challenges. A week to knit a sock, a week to design a shawl. Include sample and guage swatches, see the broad strokes of skills, have challenges of different yarn weights and styles. As it is does not do justice to our craft, like you said.

  I was disappointed that a search for best British knitter included beginners and a lot of crochet work. I was hoping to learn something new about knitting but so far that has not occurred.

  It would be great if they acknowledged in the show the importance of care to joints - stretching exercises, regular breaks etc. And that it can be a reflective craft - stitch meditation (not a race). Oh, and it&apos;s very much mislabeled.....I thought it was best knitter competition - but it&apos;s very crochet heavy. They are 2 different crafts in my opinion, and to suggest otherwise does both a disservice.

  I cannot stand the show so far. It&apos;s a trainwreck. The contestants end up having to make such ugly, pointless projects using inappropriate wool. The level of skill and experience (or obvious lack thereof) of some of the contestants makes me cringe, and I&apos;m by no means anything close to a master knitter. The show should have been all beginner knitters or all master knitters (or at least highly competent knitters). I can&apos;t believe they sent Gordon home, who used actual fair isle techniques, when one of the clown barf jumper vests wouldn&apos;t even fit over Tom Daley&apos;s head. I&apos;ve decided I won&apos;t watch the other episodes, unless a really interesting knitting commentary video comes out on something, and will just look up who won once it&apos;s over. I&apos;m rooting for Holger. He&apos;s entertaining, he clearly knows what he&apos;s doing, I share his hatred of chunky yarn, and his regular knits give me craft envy. Also he published some free sock patterns on ravelry and they&apos;re for such beautiful socks.
