  Question for Professor Richardson: When you were a student, did people ever ask, “You’re majoring in history? What will you ever do with that?” If so, I’m guessing, “Save democracy” wasn’t your answer. Thank you for your steadfast devotion to truth and sharing your knowledge so generously.

  He didn’t send them home. He imprisoned them, in a brutal prison in front of our eyes without a trial.  This is wrong.  This should shock us all.

  I think a big problem is that the general public don't care about politics. They think democracy is granted and don't pay enough attention of what is going on in front if their eyes.

  I am having a very high level of fear about this collapse of government by the Trump admonistration. Heather is right if he can arrest and deport mostly unidentified Venezuelans without any hearing any American could be arrested and deported to San Salvador.<br>worse to me is the longer this continues the harder will be reconstructing the nation.

  Erica Chenoweth, Prof of Public Policy at Harvard in her research of non-violent protests discovered that it takes only 3.5% of a population protesting non-violently to change an adminstration&apos;s policy or to bring down that governement. Witness, Ghandi in India, Mandela in South Africa, the fall of the USSR, People Power Revolution in the Philippines,etc. &nbsp;RESIST, RESIST, organize and RESIST!<br>Thank you Katie Couric for this enlightening interview with Heather Cox Richardson!

  I wish my family, that will not listen to me about all that is happening now, would at least watch this history lesson by such a qualified scholar, to see the truth about the takedown of our Democracy that we the people created. We once again have to fight for our freedom.
