  Don't forget: Cameroonian people fought in WWII as well! They signed up en masse and helped liberate France, and thousands joined the British to fight in both Africa and Europe. Regrettably, most didn't get their promised pensions and Cameroonian veterans weren't treated well by either France or the UK after the war. It did help pave the way for Cameroon's independence though, which is why this Canadian can watch your videos and fall in love with Cameroon. <3 from Toronto, Canada

  It is surprising how often people confuse Canadian kindness and politeness with weakness, to their peril. Strength does not come from hostility or nastiness, but from a fundamental sense of justice. And such view fuels courage and determination that cannot be defeated.

  Canada, with a population of just 10-million, sent 1-million men to battle in 1939. It built the 3rd largest navy in the world and produced 16,500 planes with 10,000 of these given to Britain. Canada's Navy comprised 13 ships in 1939 and its Navy grew to over 450 ships just a few years later.  I am very proud of my country and especially of my two Uncles who died protecting Britain.

  What amazes me about Juno Beach is it only took our troops 47 minutes (less time than your average university lecture) to get off the beach & start advancing...

  I think the biggest difference is that Canadian soldiers were allowed to think on their own. Being a smaller less equipped force we had to think around situations. We are not known for giving up and we fight dirty. Whatever it takes to do the job.

  Based on how Canadians have fought in previous wars just imagine how 41M Canadians might react if their homeland was ever attacked. Sure advancing militaries may win the initial battle but never go to sleep because the Canadians will be relentless in coming after you.<br><br>You might want to look at a video about Canadian JTF2 in Afghanistan or Canadian sniper performance in Iraq.
