Jim mentions in this episode that Sinner and Alcaraz have "no weaknesses" and that the physical level today is "unbelievably great" compared to the 90s.
Question: Do you agree with Jim? How do you think Prime Courier, Agassi, or Sampras would fare against Sinner and Alcaraz today? Let us know in the comments! 👇

A friend of mine since we were 11 and lived at Bolletierri’s together. He’s as authentic as you get. Brilliant and also a great role model. Very good interview. A lot to learn from him.

Jim is so smart and well spoken, and has such a tremendous tennis IQ. He goes from interviewee to interviewer so seamlessly. He follows an answer with a question. He has such a natural way of talking to people and putting them at ease. When he was a player, he was the working man's tennis pro. I always enjoyed watching him and that unorthodox baseball backhand swinging for the fences. I don't think I've seen another person hit the backhand in quite the same way. One of the underrated champions and true gentlemen of the sport.

I just love how Jim is just tight with literally seemingly all his peers… Pete and Andre etc. that golden generation really was super special

Jim was such a monster in his prime. I just remember him beating everyone up in the early 90s.

Jim is as good of a commentator and interviewer as he was a tennis player. Asks good questions, doesnt talk just to hear himself, and knows when to push or take a step back. Hes now synonymous with the AO.

His title defence at Roland Garros in 1992 was incredible dominance.

It’s also interesting to think that he played so few matches on clay during his career, but still won Roland Garros back to back (nearly three-praying) and also the Italian Open back to back. That was some efficiency.

Jim Courier represents a tennis era that I personally miss. It was a period where the sheer playing variety was spectacular (aggressive baseliners, all-court players, counterpunchers and serve-and-volleyers). And yes - Jim is massively underrated. But maybe that's also what Jim wants to be so that, now being a father, he doesn't have to be as concerned with the media as the other greats (past and present). Well done in getting him on this show. Everyone can learn a lot from Jim.,
