  My favourite aspect of this song is how much effort went into making it feel amateurish. From Teto messing up lines a few times in to video to the amazing perspective and lighting of the animation to make it look like she is just simply filming herself in different locations

  My favorite part pf the song is that when Teto voice cracks when doing a high note, the static aspect of the sythesizer makes it sound like gurgle and clucking of a Chicken. Very cool touch.

It has a nostalgic and romantic feeling. A person in the golden hour is an idealised and romanticised version of that person.<br><br>The subject of that song puts herself down while setting the other person on a pedestal. The subject is aware of this, though. Yet, she doesn&apos;t know how much her own perception differs from reality.

  I think one thing SO MANY people have pointed out is how human it feels. From how she messes up and tries to start singing before shes supposed to, to how she strained her voice at the end of the bridge, to her even sneaking in breaths between words or lines. But I think the biggest metaphor that&apos;s constantly portrayed through the song, and that makes it sound so human, is that our mistakes are what make us human, and that a life without mistakes is not truly living.

  I love the growl Jamie adds to Teto&apos;s voice as the song progresses, it&apos;s very fitting for a bird-theme, kinda like a squawk, but I feel like it emphasizes her frustration too

  I read the vocal fry throughout the song more as a direct symbol to the bird aspect of the song. It sounds as though a parrot or chicken trying to sing certain words. As well, the character design is a direct nod to a chicken 😂

  This is such a good analysis and breakdown<br><br>but nothing beats you just hearing &quot;MY PEEEEEEEEEENIS&quot; being visibly confused and then just immediately vibing to the music.

  This song is probably not about autism, but as an autistic person i heavily relate to it. Especially the lyrics ”That a bird like me could never think like you”, ”What about me is built so wrong” and ”I don’t know when I’m supposed to stop”. <br>Many of us feel like there’s something fundamentally wrong with us or that we’re stupid because we’re not capable of thinking like the average person, and we don’t know when what we do is and isn’t okay. We can be annoying and not even realize it at all, while everyone else just expects us to know exactly what to do. <br>It’s all very relatable, so even if this song isn’t about being neurodivergent, it’s still the way I interpret it. Surely I can’t be the only one?
