What's crazy is these boxes aren't actually worth these prices. It's the top chase card in the set that determines the price. Fusion Strike was only $80/ booster box and once everyone freaked out over Gengar and drove the price of the card to $800, suddenly the booster box was worth $800 because people didn't wanna feel like they got ripped off if they sold it for $80 and someone pulled the $800 card. <br><br>So naturally, they rip people off by charging how much the top chase is worth for the entire box. Notice he said "this box is around $500" and then maybe a minute later said "that shiny Charizard is about $500 right now"<br><br>It's literally just people trying to rip everyone off on the SLIGHTEST POSSIBLE CHANCE the top chase is in that set.

I haven't thought about it, but when i was a kid one of the first if not the first, ETB i ever got and opened, and still have after a few disasters and loosing a lot of my cards, was Shining Legends etb. Didn't realize a sealed one was that expensive right now!
