  i love how the lore is that these guys grew up in the sewers as little humanoid creatures that only know how to jump; they don't act like feral animals, they ARE feral animals.

  It&apos;s pretty simple, but I quite like the implication that Peach would&apos;ve loved smol Mario but Mario&apos;s lust for power turned him into the same kind of hulking monster Bowser was, with flames and all. Peach, naturally, runs from Mario at the end like she ran from Bowser. Quite tragic.

  The best part by far is the way they&apos;re constantly licking their lips. Really sells the &quot;animal trying to use all its senses to feel its way around things it doesn&apos;t understand&quot; angle.
