your new sketchbook is the same one I have! Don't be nervous, the paper is so nice you'll (hopefully) want to use it all the time! It's great for alcohol markers, okay for paints and sooooo smooth for pen drawing (careful with smudging, it takes longer for stuff to dry/soak in.) I also love doing collages because the thick paper makes for a great backing.

What a beautiful sketchbook tour. Thanks as always for sharing :)

 Always love your birds!

If you are nervous about the new sketchbook size, maybe start with a larger brush to loosen up with those big, forgiving, brush strokes. Have fun!

I'm trying to get back into drawing after a decade of infrequent drawing. I'm also trying to fill up the sketchbooks I already have lying around! Thank you for the inspiration.

The moment you hesitated and realised you just said you had to "warm up" to draw something in your sketchbook😂 Would that be in a sketchbook too?

Yay! It's always nice to finish a sketchbook. I'd be a bit intimidated by that new one, too--that is indeed a lot of pages. A silly but extremely relatable "fear" =P
