The best farmland in the world has only a few feet of soil and it is being eroded by wind and water. Industrial farming dramatically increases the rate of erosion. When the topsoil is gone, there is no more food.

In Suffolk, Financiers bought many of the smaller farms, as they became available.
They looked at the huge hedgerows, and decided that if they removed them they could increase the land area available and consequently their profits.
However when the hedges were gone, the thousands of small birds that used to live and nest in them went too.
Then billions of bugs they ate, had a free run, so crops had to be sprayed with pesticides. In addition the billions of weed seeds that blew across the land, were no longer trapped by the hedges. so they had to use herbicides to kill the weeds.
Also, the flat East Anglian lands, were subject to winds that blew the topsoil away, without the hedges to act as windbreaks.
Eventually they worked out that they were spending far more on pesticides, herbicides, diesel and labour, than they had gained from the extra land gained by removing the hedges, so they started replanting hedges.
Some common sense might have told them that hedges that had been there for generations were not there just to look pretty, and probably had a serious purpose!

Clarksons Farm should convert farmland to apple orchards because apples could generate far more value per hectare than commodity crops, while fitting perfectly with the farm shop and brand. The same crop could be turned into premium apples, juice, cider, vinegar and other products, sold directly to customers at much higher margins. Orchards would also create tourism opportunities, improve the farm’s visual appeal, support biodiversity and provide a long-term agricultural asset, while giving Clarkson a distinctive Diddly Squat apple and cider business with strong branding and TV potential.

Our beer sodden petrol head will present an agronomical thesis that has perplexed English farmers for nigh on 2000 years, defeating even the Romans. Brewers world wide are to be told that barley grown in regenerative soil produces a decent beer.

The Book of Leviticus includes a mandate that fields are to be left fallow every seventh year. Furthermore, every fiftieth year is a Jubilee year where fields are also to be left fallow. Since no new crops would be available for two years, and only the summer fruits would be available for the following year, this creates a much greater risk of starvation overall.[4] However, modern scholars contend that the jubilee year was held on the 49th year, meaning fields were only fallow for one year ,

The world will only be replenished when the world turns back to the GOD of the BIBLE,
which includes one man and one woman in marriage
