My aunt, now around 65 years old, often reminisces about her childhood during the Pahlavi era. She vividly remembers the nutritious snacks distributed at school—large, juicy apples, fresh milk, and delicious chocolate cakes. She says she has never forgotten their taste. According to her, Empress Farah Pahlavi established this school nutrition program so that every child, regardless of family income, would receive adequate nutrition and wouldn’t fall behind in school because of poor health.

I remember watching a beautiful televised exhibition/ celebration of the Shah and his beautiful wife. There were so many horses with long pieces of different colors of material. It was like watching a fairy tale come true. I think it was the Shah's second wife with him. That was so long ago . Thank you for this.

extremely sad. I did research and wrote a book on Zoroastrianism. probably one of the most beautiful religions in the world. one tried always to be good in thought, word and deed. nothing could be better.
