  Fun Fact:Paul Brown nearly ruined the career of Walsh by telling everyone that he didn&apos;t think Walsh was HC MATERIAL.Walsh got his chance to bring his offense to Cincinnati in the early &apos;70s.

  In the 80&apos;s I remember hearing people saying Sunday afternoons in San Francisco was the best time to go anywhere in the city. There was nobody around. You could find a great parking spot, go to an empty zoo, or just drive around around because there was no traffic. &nbsp;The 49ers were playing and everyone was glued to thier TV sets😂

  The year I was born was the season the 49ers won their first Super Bowl. &nbsp;When they lost in the 1997 NFC Championship Game I was 16 years old in the 11th grade. &nbsp;That puts a scale to how long that 49ers dynasty lasted.

  I remember on a &nbsp;MNF broadcast in the 90&apos;s when All Michaels called them &quot;The Roman Empire&quot; of the NFL. Great years to be a Niners fan for sure!!!

  The 2010-14 San Francisco Giants dynasty would be a good one too. &nbsp;Won three World Series in five years and vanished. &nbsp;Even the star players just completely fell off.

  In Super Bowl XVI in the third quarter the 49ers defense had the most AWESOME plays!!!!!!!

  I had the magic opportunity to sit and talk football with Coach Walsh on a couple of occasions prior to the 81 season. I congratulated him on the progress the team was making. He told me, and it was a totally non consequential casual conversation, that they were going to win it all that year. I was taken aback with his fervor….but he was sure. When it happened all i could think was, &nbsp;Son of a Gun

  Those early Niners teams are still among my favorite teams. Rice might’ve been a 1st rounder but Dwight Clark was a 10TH ROUND DRAFT PICK. That’s how they built such a dynasty, no wasted effort.

  I’ll never forget the 81 season when the official put the whole NFL on notice, when the beat Dallas in the regular season 45-14 at the stick, I’ll always remember the infamous words of Pat Sumerall saying “ the forty niners are looking like an &nbsp;awesome scoring machine!” That was the moment that the blowout started and everyone knew it was about to happen! 😊
