Haaretz?!<br>What’s their motivation?<br>This is an exercise of blame the victim be it the government, or the people.<br>What this does is once again take the attention away from the antagonists which at the end is first and foremost the point of primary focus.

Hamas trained and planned Oct for two years. Does it make sense that at the last moment Sinwar would offer to call the whole thing off in return for some kind of political concession from Israel?

The political and defense structures are so rotten that they deny any failures. <br>1. What is the size of the standing army? What is the density / km of border? How many were present? <br>2. Why the 100% reliance on intelligence? <br>3. Why the top-down waterfall structure, when a mistake by 1 (or a few) person can crash the entire army? Why aren't local commanders, who see the actual actions, able to make their own decisions? <br>4. How come the defence system has zero redundancy and zero mistake tolerance? <br>5. Why was the high-tech blamed for every failure when the observation network actually worked?

Just like to say how much I appreciate this channel. Actually having an outlet that has actual information and tackles issues without constantly claiming victim hood when dealing with uncomfortable topics . Being American and against Israel’s conduct in Gaza I find it helpful to get pushback against my opinions and understand other people’s perspectives. This channel has helped changed my mind on subjects and added color and empathy to my view of Israel. Thank you
