  I just had my septorhynoplasty a little over 2 weeks ago and I can absolutely relate to being super chill at the hospital and before going under and all. After all the prepping, IV and talking to nurses and anesthesiologist etc, they rolled me into the OR and the nurse accidentally crashed my bed against the door frame and we were all laughing, I said "I'm here to get stuff fixed not broken please!" then we all started laughing and the anesthesiologist said "i knew the nurse had bought her diploma somewhere" we were cracking up. Then my Dr. played Jack Johnson in the background as I had requested previously and the anesthesiologist put the mask on me and said "it's just oxygen, just listen to my voice and relax" my heart rate and BP were perfect and I was incredibly calm. I remember feeling my face all fuzzy and warm and nice and I was out in 3 seconds lol... next thing I know, I was waking up in the recovery room. My surgery lasted almost 7 hours I had a lot done. I felt no 0 pain afterwards, no nausea no nothing just drowsy. I stayed one night at the hospital as well... and I had an amazing surgery/hospital experience. The bruising was minimal eventhough they had to break my nose in three different places and did like 3 functional procedures as well. The first week post-op sucked cause mouth breathing... so eating and sleeping was awful... but after that and getting the splints removed it got so much better. I'm loving my result already as swollen as I may be obviously, but my Dr is the absolute best. And it will only get better in the next few months / year.

  You actually did a good thing with getting your nose done . It looked crooked before and too sharky ... plus the bumpy . Hated it the nose now is beautiful
