When you want to get the theory done before the end of 2018 but you spent hours looking and calculating Madagascar’s square miles to see how many lemurs would fit

Matpat, now you have to calculate the kill count for every new Disney movie that comes out

As someone who took Oceanography in college I got to say I am so proud of MatPat for talking about the Minoans for Atlantis because that's where I leaned about them! Not from Greek mythology lectures in literature when we were discussing the Minotaur in Highschool, but the beginnings of Human Civilization as it related to the ocean AND that class is also where I learned about the Minoans originating the Monitor myths. I am so proud of MatPat for knowing that and including it here. First YouTuber I have seen to actually research this one deeper than saying "Atlantis was a myth". Thank you MatPat for constantly searching deeper into the history books than simply leaving anything on surface level knowledge (or non knowledge as the case may be 😅). Thank you and I really appreciate it

Most tragic death was Lemur # 12,413. He had just overcome his demons, beating his drug addiction and resolving to go back to school. He was just starting to turn his troubled life around.

RIP Leemy.
