  82 year old subscriber from California.  Welcome to the rabbit hole of Missioned Souls.  Here's their family history (as mentioned in interviews):  The four children's current ages are: Naces (like Faces, 16, bass/keyboards), Neisha (like Kneesha 15, lead guitar/backup vocals), Stacey (13, lead singer/rhythm guitar), and Isaiah AKA Ice (12, drums).  Mom (Sheena, singer/video editing) and dad (Secan, bass/sound engineer) met playing in a college band in Cebu, Philippines, and still live there.  They kept performing in a professional band (State of Grace, with several recordings) after that and got married.  They started taking the kids to their practices and gigs as part of their audience.   Secan taught all the kids the basics of bass guitar at about age 7, and each of them branched out to other instruments on their own.  The children are home schooled by their parents and their grandmother, an American missionary living with them, which is why they all speak English fluently.  All of the children are self taught and learn by ear (probably most of them have perfect pitch and photographic memory).  Ice started drumming on pillows at four years old, and the kids started singing with a wireless mic (in birthday videos) at about four also, and they all sing in church every week.  They also picked up helpful tips from the band members.  In late 2022, they started playing at small gigs but had to hire some one to play lead guitar.  Secan asked Neisha to learn guitar and showed her some basics.  Within a month, she took over lead guitar.  They started learning songs, and in late 2023 they started uploading U-Tube videos, mostly to watch themselves and improve their playing.  They now have over 250 videos of nearly every genre, some including the parents, some with just the four children.  All six of them must vote yes before they record a cover.  One of the kids' earliest videos on their back porch in 2023 was "Hysteria" by Muse, and it is a must see.  "Tunnel Of Love" by Dire Straits, "So Far Away" by Avenged Sevenfold, "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns And Roses, "Alone" by Heart, and "Rosanna" by Toto are other outstanding ones.  Some of Ice's early drum skills show on "Everlong" by The Foo Fighters.  Other great covers are: "Highway Star" and "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple, and "Separate Ways" and "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey.  They also have covers of the Beatles, ABBA, CCR, Evanescence, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, The Offspring, Paramore, Elvis, Joan Jett, and Many others, spanning 7 decades.  They are now working on original music to be released this year, and are planning tours in the US, UK, and Indonesia in 2026.

  Stacey has really upped her game with her guitar playing this year. Everyone focuses on her singing but miss her playing. Really nice tone with the new bass, Naces. Neisha seems to be taking on the role of band leader or music director at least. They're all getting scary good at an exponential rate.
