  the girl at the entrance of the cabin towards the beginning was such a genius scare.<br>no loud screams or a jumpscare, or an intentionally scary appearance of the girl. the wall next to the door hides it so you can’t notice her before you get close to the door to already predict what’ll happen next too.

  NGL when the guy came running from around the cabin made me jump and gasp so loud that i woke my dog up and he was very concerned. lol

  This unironically is one of the best versions of this type of game. <br><br>Instead of making you run away the moment of something happening it actually engages you pretty well with its horror. I like the aspect of movement being the thing you need to press the button on as it allows the other moments to shine and not be something you just immediately skip past. <br><br><br>This game got me jumping a few times. Very good horror game.

  dude this was genuinely scary. whenever someone was missing i KNEW they were gonna show up but it still scared tf out of me. the one where the mom was infront of the painting was a sick use of perspective

  The fact that this game doesn&apos;t use any loud noises to indicate a jump scare is exactly what makes it so much scarier. It really lets you soak up the moment and let the actual gameplay scare you rather than just having a loud noise. The scares aren&apos;t projected like they are in other jump scare reliant games. They really stick to you.
