  I worked as an Assistant Librarian forty years ago. Part of my job was updating the card catalog from handwritten to typed cards (on a classic typewriter, this was before they had a computer), and each card had to be created in pairs (one for the catalog, and one for the inside pocket of the book) with the appropriate Dewey Decimal system notation. I’m feeling the zen again watching this video. Thanks for reminding me of these fond memories.

  I love how the first patron only needs a photo ID and a piece of mail, the favorite patron doesn&apos;t even need a library card, and the person at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rjkt2D-IBf4&amp;t=1740">29:00</a> needs more documentation than if they were applying for a mortgage 🤣🤣

  😊 I love and miss those days spent with my friends in my local public library. I loved the smell of the books and tucking into the quiet corners where the regular visitors knew where to go and hide. You don&apos;t know what you&apos;ve missed until it&apos;s gone. Thank you, &nbsp;Ms. Amy, for opening the library today. I have my card now. ❤

  Library ASMR is my favorite. Probably because I&apos;m a librarian and love to see what rules the ASMR libraries have. I work with a woman that remembers her favorite patron library card numbers. Libraries are magical.
