I've got dreams, goals, but I've been isolated and depressed for so long that I've sort of stop trying, after each time i tried and fallen back, i dont like living like this, distracting myself but it's what keeps me going when i can't do anything else. I feel lost, thank you for making this video, i feel like I'll come back to it soon and try again

So in a nutshell:
You want to focus on higher goals that give you premium pleasure with complex dopamine — which gives you a reason to accept or even welcome the balancing pain and hardship that come along with it — rather than drown in a sea of simple, easily accessible pleasure and dopamine that would leave you stranded with no drive to reach for anything that requires work or pain.

And as you walk this path, you create new neurological links in your brain, either actively by engaging in complex pleasures or passively by abstaining from simple ones, until you are rewired and driven enough to actually seek out pain itself and gain pleasure passively. That’s a pretty good mind map. It also gives you an idea on how to differentiate pleasure and a reason to abstain from the simple type rather than being in a constant battle with yourself or with peer pressure.

I myself am hesitant with deploying lots of gadgets and prefer a simple yet strong mental foundation but this alone helps a lot.
Thanks a lot!!

It’s strange how a single moment can open up things you didn’t even know were closed. I’ve been reflecting a lot lately — long walks, slower mornings, actually listening to myself instead of drowning everything in noise. Somewhere in that process I remembered a passage from The Unseen Law by Kael Noven about how silence isn’t emptiness but space. And honestly, that one idea shifted more in me than I expected. I’m learning to let things breathe instead of trying to force clarity. Maybe peace isn’t something you find — maybe it’s just what’s left when you stop running.

Someone recommended Manifest the Divine by Elena River in a comment section and I’m so glad I listened. This book doesn’t sugarcoat anything. It just tells you what actually works. My whole mindset is different now.

I like how he emphasizes in the, "HOW" part to fix yourself, how hard it will be, he literally said, one of the hardest things... Makes sense since corn addition is more addictive than heroine
