  I’ve done a couple Windstar cruises when I was a teen, both on the Wind Star during Christmas (Costa Rica and the Panama Canal the following year). We had some of the same staff on the 2nd cruise, including the same cruise director, and they immediately remembered me. The Star, one of their 3 Wind Class ships, is a power sailing yacht, the other Wind Class ships being the Wind Spirit and Wind Surf; yes the sails actually work, they’re computer controlled but only used if the wind is strong enough. On the second cruise, I was invited to a party one night for repeat guests. And for both cruises I’ve done with them, they did 2 bbq’s over the course of the voyage, 1 on the beach for lunch and another for dinner on deck. They bring water sports equipment to the beach bbq. Some important notes: the Wind Star and Wind Spirit don’t have elevators and aren’t wheelchair accessible. Their other ships have elevators but none of the cabins on the Wind Class ships are wheelchair accessible, even on the Wind Surf. The Star, Pride, and Legend do have wheelchair accessible suites.

  My husband and I are so excited to take our first asian cruise and a first time on Windstar. We have done two other large cruise liners and this video really highlighted the differences we can look forward to.

  We are trying to decide on the cruise line for our first ever cruise to the Med in June of 2028 for our 30th Anniversary and this video was extremely helpful! Thank you for the great breakdown of everything important. We are not into the big party scene that the big ships have and that water sports patio really looks cool and different.

  My wife and I have cruised the Med on most of the small ship and luxury lines. Windstar’s motor yachts are top notch, first class. Our last trip on the Star Legend was 10 out of 10. Food, service, atmosphere could not be beat. Their two sailing ships were not up to that standard. Nor was Seaborn. We rate Windstar motor yachts and all Ponant ships as the best small ships cruises.

  We have just completed the Tahiti cruise. The thing that made the difference between a great cruise and a fantastic cruise was the staff. They were stunning. As mentioned in this video, staff got to know us by name, and Jack who works the bar would start making our drinks as we approached the bar ( not sure what it says about us - lol ) . &nbsp;We enjoyed off ship experiences, but had days of just enjoying being on the ship. The suites are the biggest we have experiences. We’ve booked another Windstar Breeze tour for next year. If you book another cruise while onboard, you can save up to $USD 1500.
