I Have 7 DAYS To Tame These Badly Behaved Horses...

I am 67 and grew up with horses. My stepfather was a real old-fashioned cowboy from Texas, and he tried to teach me how to break and ride horses. He was taught to completely dominate and force horses to do what he wanted. My gut told me that that was no way to treat an intelligent sensitive animal. He broke a number of horses and broke a number of his bones, too. He told me horses are not your friend, and you had to always show them who was the boss. Even if you had to use a whip. He thought I was a complete wimp for trying to convince the horses to trust me and developed a relationship with them. When I was 10 I worked with a Mandan Indian who worked with horses. His approach was completely different from my stepfather's. He was kind, hands on, and worked on trust.  I was lucky enough to work on a couple of cattle ranches in Idaho and the ranchers let me work with their horses. They were surprised at what I could do with those old-fashioned trained horses. I loved every minute. I love the way Pat understands and works with horses.

I would suggest people not buying an unexperienced horse if you are that too, why not have fun learning :)

Every horse knows that the Parelli system works very well. If it doesn't work for you, it's not because the system doesn't work. It's because you haven't put enough effort into learning the system.

Loved the Parelli program since the early 90’s. Couldn’t have had the relationship with my horses if it wasn’t for Pat Parelli and Linda.  Thank you Pat!

This man told me decades ago at a clinic way before he became famous that a good horse eats as much as a bad one and I should just get rid of the horse.   It's crazy that he's now extremely wealthy making the big bucks off other people's "bad" horses.   Lol

That lady doesn’t act like she’s present on the planet, let alone present during the lesson!
