In my humble opinion, so much more interesting than the zillions of video's out there about the latest camera gear/tech that is "flavour of the millisecond"

Sorry for the untimely upload this week. Our terrible Aussie internet was down at our house for the last 6 days. We just had it fixed today. I hope to go back to my usual posting schedule this weekend. Thank you for all of your support. I really appreciate it.

I have been light painting on and off for years but like your simple approach and light positioning relative to the camera. Thanks for sharing.

I love to watch light painting. This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone do it with models. Fascinating.

Sixty five years ago I saw my father whom was a photographer paint his subjects except he did it in the dark room. He would place the negative in the enlarger , project the image down on the photographic paper and move a little two inch diameter disk around over the image. It was amazing what he did in that dark room! An of course everything was black & white at that time . He would run the photos thru the developer then the stop fluid and wash them in water , hang them to dry ........it was like magic to me . When working with bridal photos he would use photographic paper that was sort of grainy and would then tint them in oil paint . It look more like an oil painting than a photograph . He did absolutely beautiful work , so talented . I never understood how he mix the different colors to come up with the color he wanted. The eyes were always so perfect even up close . Someone who didn't really know me as " what do you know about cameras " ? Well to begin with I broke my first camera at four years old , it was an Argus 35mm which we had repaired and I still have to this day. Now I use a Nikon D800 and a D610 for backup !<br>Love your work and will try it soon ! Thank You for this video !
