:( that poor security guard doing his best and going to go get his own speaker for the convention. He deserves his kudos for putting more effort into it than Grace.

A civil contract claim was recently filed against her, so hopefully we'll see some kind of justice soon

Every bad thing is happening to her in last minute. Clearly a scam

The security guard going back home and getting his own speaker is indicative of just how pathetic the situation was, he saw it was so lifeless that it was safe for him to leave them unattended and worth the risk to bring back something to give it life. I feel bad for these people some of them thought it was a chance to turn their hobby into a career and ended up wasting money and now having it be a giant joke

No real plans or experience? Check. Lazy organizer? Check. Zero personal accountability? Check. Finger pointing? Check. This is EXACTLY how I would expect a con about "booktok" to go.
