  I will always remember Becky, a girl who was amazing at math in the 4th grade. &nbsp;We used to have competitions where we tried to solve math problems as fast as possible, and we were the best in the class. &nbsp;It always ended up just us left, trying to see who would get the win for our team with her trying hard and often beating me. &nbsp;I kind of liked Becky. &nbsp;One day, after a break from school, she returned back to the 4th grade and all of a sudden only talked in what I now recognize as a &quot;Valley Girl&quot; (stupid chick) accent, and acting dumb and ditzy on purpose. &nbsp;She proceeded to (on purpose) get every math question wrong and giggled at herself tee hee hee. &nbsp;It made me insanely mad, confused, and disappointed. &nbsp;She never stopped doing it and carried that &quot;sudden&quot; personality til we graduated our senior year. &nbsp;To this day I still wonder what cultural BS she was exposed to over the break that made her think being a stupid girl was so cool and attractive, and believe her doing that damaged how I thought of women and mainstream &quot;girl culture&quot; in general..... sorry feminists but no man taught her that was cool, she was clearly emulating a woman or women she wanted to be like.
